Overview so far:
Stayed at Barbra's & joined up with her Spanish congregation
The service & Bible Study work was different but delightful.
We moved into Casa Khol (Casa las Ruinas) in Antigua 4 November & will stay till 4th December
During which time we had Ian & Laura with us for a full 2 weeks.
Toured the Finka Filadelphia - coffee plantation
Phil, Ian, Barbra & Monica had a Zip Wire Canopy Experience above the plantation
He & Ian also climbed Pacaya (volcano) with a tour team
We visited the Antigua Textile Museum
'Tejido Museo'
We've shopped, cooked & partied with our new friends
Supported most field service arrangements
Collated lists of hotels & hostels that will accept the Watchtower & Awake magazine for their English speaking guests on a monthly basis
Attended and participated in all the local congregation meetings
Phil even gave the public address one Sunday
Toured the assembly hall
Had a hair cut in Avenida 3 with Monica at la Pelugueria Salon for 100Q around £8
Met the most amazingly dedicated Christian brothers & sisters
Enjoyed motivational field service arrangements
Spoken to dozens of people about our Kingdom hope!!
Weekend in Panajachel
Boat trip to San Juan & San Pedro
Celebrated with the congregation San Sebastián in the leaving party of the Rice Family - bible costume style
Had 2 x Spanish language lessons
Revisited El Comvento & Santo Domingo Hotels
Booked our anniversary meal for Wednesday this coming week .....
Started a Bible Study with Yuly
We are half way through our vacation time!!
